Description: ANTIQUE Italian LANDSCAPE,Coastal Mediterranean,1928,Signed. From the famous Foire de Chatou, the large Brocante or French flea market held twice yearly for over a century on the outskirts of Paris. Oil on wood board depicting the rugged Mediterranean coastline. Signed lower right front corner, “Therese Quibourg”. On reverse, the piece is inscribed: “Ospeda Catti 1928” A sticker is affixed to the back of the wood frame advertising what I presume is the framer, from Bergamo. Framed in an intricately carved wide wooden frame, with a matte gold liner. In very good antique condition showing light wear only. Several small superficial fissures to wood surface as photographed, but overall in excellent condition. Please review all photos for an accurate depiction of condition.
