Description: Up for sale is a nice George Nicoll hickory shaft 4 iron refurbished for play. The head has been reset / repinned and epoxied. A newer leather grip smooth side out has been installed. The shaft is stiff, straight and most likely the original. It is approx 37 inches in length. It has a slightly wider sole than most hickory irons. Loft approx 32 degrees and SW C4/C5. Whipping has been added at the head for weight and stability. ** Please remember old hickory shafts can have hidden defects which can cause breakage. And, do not use hickory shafted clubs on driving range mats!
