Description: This auction is for an antique very ornate embossed silver metal wall plate that we are not sure what the actual metal is. It looks like it could be either spelter or pewter.The plate is very heavy for its size and very well made with lots of detailed embossed work.In the center, the bust of what looks like a boy child in round cheeks and fancy hat from Louis the VIII Era seems to be the main attraction.There are no maker's marks anywhere that we can see.Beautiful detail and very impressive antique wall plate.10" in diameter X 1" high.
