The Artist's full name was George Gilbert Murray Williams, but he always signed G.H. Williams. He was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1878 and died at age 89 in 1964. Williams painted quite a number of florals in his earlier years and was also well known for his paintings of roses which he loved. His paintings were collected by major art galleries in Australia, and the South Australian Art Gallery (Museum) possesses a collection of his paintings. PLEASE NOTE CONDITION ISSUES ON THE CANVAS.
