Description: This Antique French Tapestry depicting the 1850 painting "A Morning, Dance Of The Nymphs" by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot is in good condition overall but shows clear signs of age, storage and wear from handling. The tapestry is "signed" "D'apres Corot" which denotes artistic credit to French painter Jean Baptiste Camille Corot. On the back side is a clear ink stamp reading "MADE IN FRANCE." The tapestry measures roughly 54" X 40". The material shows mild fading and also exhibits staining in areas. No rips, tears or holes can be found but the material does have a ragged edge. The ornate stitching is very fine and this rendering of the original painted composition is rich with strong detail. Though undeniable traces of age and handling are present, this tapestry still displays very nicely and would be a compliment to it's environment. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
