Description: Beautiful antique English Chippendale wood tray. Measures approx 24” x 18 1/2”. Good antique with some deep scratches to surface and middle part has faded a bit(see picture) . I purchased it with these imperfections and find them very charming. You can polish with old English etc. to clean up but I hardly ever touch anything up…….I appreciate the way things age gracefully and find the most beauty in imperfections. The tray is superior quality and light in weight for size of tray. All the higher quality Chippendale trays are light in weight and were very hard to make this way and took great skill. Kittinger is only company I know that’s around today that still makes trays this way. I’ve shown this piece displayed in different vignettes in pictures so you can see how classic and elegant they look displayed. Again, this wood tray is a antique piece and shows lots of age wear with many very deep scratches etc. (see pictures) and will not look new. Structurally very sound and ready to be used. Love this handsome Chippendale look! These are very hard to find these days so what a special piece. Thanks for looking
