This item is made of metal, wood, with carved wood exterior decorative panels, brass engraved decorative elements and a fabric lined interior. The item is antique. This box was a fantastic item made by hand well over 100+ years ago. The item is not marked by a maker (see photos). The item has a lock (currently opened) without a key present (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). This item in total measures about 10.5 inches high, it is about 10.5 inches from the front edge to the back edge, and the item is about 16.5 inches wide. The box is sold in as is as found estate condition. The box has losses to the wood, damages to the wood, bends and losses to the brass metal elements, no key to the lock, the fabric interior does not look to be original, the wood has some warping, there is a missing handle on one side and other obvious signs of loss and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
