Description: Possibly 1920s-1930s time frame due to the construction. This has a very early form of the rollover closure that was developed at that time. By the 1930s, the more modern easy to use roll over closures that we are used to today were out. It is also fully functional. The shape of the piece resembles a big full silver tone rose. Unknown metal but no part of the brooch is magnetic. There could possibly be a silver or gold fill and/or brass layer. Beautiful faceted black stones or glass in round and cylinder shapes. The largest center stone is 3/8 inch. There are 17 stones total. Minor wear as shown. Wonderful condition for age. The filagree is so intricate and gorgeous. 1.25 inches Happy to combine shipping with other items. You may request a new total at checkout, or I can just refund you any difference after checkout. Thanks so much!!
