Description: Maker: This gorgeous serving platter is by the iconic English china maker Copeland Spode. A printed Copeland Spode mark is on the back along with an impressed semi-circle Copeland mark. Design: The pattern is called Bermuda. It features a stylized bird on a tree and a floral band. Marks and age: The Copeland Spode mark on the reverse was in use from 1920 to 1957, making this platter at least 66 years old and probably older. According to replacements.com, the Bermuda pattern dates to the early 1930s. Size: The platter is 13 1/2 inches long, 10 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches deep. It weighs 1 pound 10 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition, especially considering its age. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs or significant wear.
