Description: Antique Art Nouveau Carved Coral Cameo in 10k Gold Chased Frame Victorian Era AS IS Here is a petite brooch or pin in the Art Nouveau style from the turn of the century in a 10k rosy yellow gold chased frame. We estimate the pin to be from the 1890s or early turn of the 20th century and it features a hand carved cameo in Coral of an elegant woman. The 10k rosy yellow gold frame is hand-chased or engraved all the way around the bezel which holds the carved Coral cameo. The coral shows a beautiful deep salmon color with white speckled throughout. The pin is in good antique condition and was previously converted from a stick pin into its current form. The pin now has a hinged pin back with a secure closure in silver. The frame shows some wear at the edges and a darkened patina throughout. You'll note the bezel does have a small crack in the side but the Coral cameo is secure. The coral shows natural variation in color and there are one or two small pores in the stone.
