Description: Antique (2 patents from 1910) A. Hoffman Peerless, cast-iron based, drawing/drafting table, out of Rochester, NY. Size of the fresh top is 17-3/4" x 23-3/4" x 3/4" thick. In the flat position, the top measures 30" to the floor, extending to about 44" from the floor, and has an after-market attachable pencil tray. The cast iron base has been stripped and coated with a rust inhibitor, the Poplar top has been stained and polyurethaned. The 3 legs have the remnants of their original cork floor protectors. Also included is an oak-framed, 2-sided sign that acts as a board cover, for those that are a little private about their work!
