This item was sent to a local luthier who addressed any issues with the item. This item was repaired to be in playable condition. He did not do any touch ups to the finish of the wood. There are no active cracks/major damage. I believe most of the hardware on the instrument is not original. The item will need to be tuned before use. The item comes with case that is not original. This case is mainly for protection for shipping. The label inside the instrument reads, "Anno 1733 Reuinio e corretto da me Carlo Bergonzi in Cermona." I believe the size of this item is 4/4 as the length of the back measures approximately 14" I am unsure if this is a violin or a fiddle. This item does not come with a bow.
