Description: Beautifully made scarce acorn tongs made in 1805 in New York. They were made by Thomas Burger (possibly in conjunction with his brother John). There is a J and H on the back. They have lots of flexibly. The sides are slightly different lengths (3/16 difference). The length is 7 1/2 and weigh 26 gr. Your purchase will be well wrapped in a box.
