Description: Offered for sale is this incredible Daum Nancy wide vase/bowl. Displays many of Daum’s most well known techniques such as heavy wheel carving on the surface flowers as well as many layers of cameo etching to produce a striking design. Color is also incredible and rare to find in larger Daum pieces. In terms of condition, this piece has scratching and wear from age. Interior scratches to bowl shown in photos. Bottom doesn’t sit completely flat, and I had to balance it out with an extra foot pad on one end. Likely the misshaping there comes from manufacture. Has what may be a small chip to one side as shown with my thumb as a comparison for size. Many open surface bubbles from manufacture owing to the way this vase was made. Will be packaged with utmost care and will be double boxed for shipment.
