A total of 147 cooling fins run over an area of around 42 x 58.6 mm. The entire cooler base is of course made of nickel-plated copper and not aluminium. This is because the thermal conductivity of copper is known to be almost twice as high as that of aluminium. The assembly is extremely easy. You remove the protective foil from the cooler bottom, spread some of the enclosed thermal paste on the CPu and then attach the cooler. Depending on the base, the mounting screws are screwed on before or after the cooler is put on. No tools are necessary for the installation.
