This small part will fit inside of your buckle on the part that attaches to the band. Once added under the band through the large hole under the clasp insert the pin in the end end out as long as you want the band to be. Sounds hard piece of cake to do. With this type of extender you will not need to trim the end of the band that you have dis-connected from the clasp. This style will fit with NO alterations to the band end. You can make your band up to .75 inches larger than it is now. Have a look at the Photographs and you should learn all that you need to in order to make this thing work for you. This one has to go in the last hole on your clasp. The last hole needs to be close to the end of the clasp for it to attach correctly. It looks great once on. The other end can be slid anywhere over the now exposed end of the band to better adjust the length. But keep in mind if you decide to use the 2 hole extension instead of this one you might need to file the band slightly on the edges so that it will fit inside the extender. This is the better of the 2 types of extender that I sell. I include 2 spring bars because sometimes the spring bar that you remove from old faithful to attach your band to the extension has been in there so long. Hundreds of hand washings, Sweat getting into the spring etc. that it just doesn't have the spring that it once had. Throw it out if it's rusting or doesn't feel springy enough and use a new one on both sides of the extender. You deserve only the best.In order to determine the size of the extender that you will need, you will simply measure the width of your watchband at the end that attaches to the clasp. One end of your watchband will attach to the clasp and the other end of the clasp will be attached to the rest of the buckle assembly and you need not worry about that side.
