BIO: Al Michaels television sportscaster best known for his famous broadcast of the 1980 Winter Olympics Ice Hockey game between the USA vs. Russia known as the Miracle on Ice. Michaels's memorable broadcast of this game, including his interjection "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" as time expired on the 4–3 U.S. victory Olympic Gold Medal, earned the game the media nickname of The Miracle on Ice. Mr. Michaels has spent three decades (1977–2006) with ABC Sports, Michaels is also known for his many years calling play-by-play of National Football League games, including nearly two decades with Monday Night Football. He is also known for famous calls in other sports, including the Miracle on Ice at the 1980 Winter Olympics and the earthquake-interrupted Game 3 of the 1989 World Series. PLEASE NOTE MR.
