This is a Genuine Vintage Advertising Calendar Poster that was Printed in England and Not a reproduction or a copy of any sort. The Prince of Wales, Edward VIII, is seen in this rare 1933 calendar advertisement of Huntley & Palmers Biscuit. This is probably the only time a top British Royal’s image appears on a commercial advertisement. The Prince of Wales Edward VIII became the King of England in January of 1936, only to resign by December 1936, to marry his beloved the twice divorced Wallis Simpson an American, which created an immense amount of controversy at the time. The poster despite its age of over 90 years is in good condition with exception to some stains and light scuffing. The frame is of a later addition. Great Poster for the collector.
