Description: A Shelley "Blue Rock " 13591 Dainty shape double egg cup. C.1940+. The narrow end of the egg cup was used to sit the egg and the opposite end was used to eat the egg once it had been mashed up. Pattern No 13591 Blue Rock - Tiny blue flowers and green leaves. Spray also inside cup. Pale blue trim. White ground. The back stamp is the 1940-1966 mark. The shape of this egg cup is the Dainty shape which was produced between 1896 and 1966. Dimensions: small cup diameter 50mm (2 inches) / large cup diameter 71 (2.75 inches) / height 91mm (3.5 inches). Condition: In excellent clean pristine condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching, rubbing or any signs of use. The egg cup has an excellent "ping" to it when lightly tapped.
