Description: FIVE editions of THE NEW YORK TIMES that were personally owned by Clarence W. Barron. These are all in very nice condition as shown in photos. All 5 editions contain 8 pages without any noticeable rips or tears. The only exception is shown in the images from page one of the April 10, 1865 edition - a small vertical tear about 1/2” wide and 2” long. The 5 Complete Editions: Monday, April 15, 1861 - BEGINNING OF CIVIL WARTuesday, September 23, 1862 - LINCOLN’S EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATIONMonday, July 6, 1863 - THE GREAT BATTLESMonday, April 10, 1865 - END OF CIVIL WARSaturday, April 15, 1865 - LINCOLN SHOT These are printed on wood pulp paper, so I’m assuming they are reprints from the same era. Part of the C. W. Barron estate and were personally owned by CWB. Feel free to ask any questions. 100% Feedback. Please look at my other listings.
