Description: 40's Revere 20" Pump Island Light Porcelain Vintage Red GAS STATION Cluster Sign Any Gas Station Pump island lights are fairly hard to find. Finding them in red with cluster sockets in a large quantity, almost unheard of. The bright red porcelain is all original and in very good condition. The sockets have been replaced with perfectly fitting new, UL Listed sockets. The original red porcelain has retained its beautiful fire-engine red shine. All of the aluminum has been cleaned and left in its original state. The 3/4" pipe between the socket housing and pole-sleeve has been blasted and painted. I take a lot of pride in preparing these wonderful lights for a safe and worry-free existence over the next many decades without over-restoring. These are ready to go back to work. The wiring is 150 centigrade high-temperature fixture wire. I added a ground wire for safety along with a new gasket. All threads have been chased and new solid brass fasteners have been installed. Although 3 bulbs of 200-300 watt each can be used, 3 smaller LED bulbs will provide plenty of lights while conserving energy. Other than esthetics, this is the main benefit of having three bulbs. The sleeve fits over your 2" pipe and clamps with two brass set-screws. The 2" pipe is not included. It is available at most Big-Box Stores such as Home-Depot. This should also fit your old Revere or like gas station light poles. Your electrical connection will be made inside the top cover of the light accessible by removing three screws. The lights have no manufacturer markings on them. I assume they are made by Revere as the first set I had was marked Revere on some old masking tape adhered to the shade.
