350Z 03-08 Door Vent Gauge Pod

Description: 350Z 03-08 Door Vent Gauge Pod This 3D printed gauge pod allows you to run an aftermarket gauge in the driver or passenger door vent. It will work on a driver or passenger door. Designed to fit a 52mm or 2 1/16 aftermarket gauges. No cutting or modification is required and it's completely reversible. This does not replace the vent you still need a complete vent to start with. Installation requires removal of the door handle and door panel. It will work on any 350Z 03-08. It will not work on any other year 350Z. This listing comes with one gauge pod mount. This does not come with gauges, interior trim or hardware. This listing is only for the 3D printed part. Installation is simple and requires basic hand tools. You remove the door panel and then remove the vent. It's attached to the door panel with 4 phillips screws. The vent is easy to disassemble, remove the small P1 screw on the back of the vent and the vent comes apart. The screw is reused for mounting the gauge pod. I designed this with a 52.5mm hole for the gauge. Not all gauges are 52mm be sure to test fit your gauge DO NOT JUST PRESS IT IN. If you feel heavy resistance inserting the gauge, the design will need sanding. Gauges are designed to fit snug so you don't have any rattles or noises. I've found that the lower end gauges are either larger or smaller than 52mm. If your gauge is too loose add a layer of tape until it fits.Made out of ABS plastic the same material most automotive interior plastic is made of. This is a raw 3D printed part you will see small lines from being made. The part can be sanded and painted and you won't see any lines.I have many 3D printed gauge pod designs for the 350Z and G35.
