Description: For sale are these three (3) Track & Field medals with their original red, white and blue ribbon functional C-clamp and pin. These were won at a 1963 Texas District 3AAAA track and field meet. The runner won a first place "gold" medal in the 100 yard dash and in the 220 yard dash. The relay team came in second and he received a silver medal in that event. I recently acquired these medals along with several dozen other plaques, medals and trade charms. All of these items that had dates on them were either 1961, 1962 or 1963. This runner won medals in events in all three years. Since high schools in the early 1960's in Texas were for just the sophomore (10th), Junior (11th) and senior (12th) years, this runner was almost assuredly born in 1945 when Dad came home from WWII.
