Description: Offered here is an antique metal high heel shoe with Jennie Wade House on the tongue of the shoe. Jennie Wade was a civilian killed by bullet that pierced two doors before killing the young woman during the Civil War 3 day battle of Gettysburg. The house became (and still is) a point of interest to Civil War buffs and this pincushion was a souvenir from that area. The shoe is 3-1/2” in length, 1-3/4” tall and the sawdust pincushion is deteriorating and shoe is tarnished.
