The plants included will have adequate root development for transplanting into a larger pot or directly into the ground. These plants are only somewhat cold hardy, and can survive as low as 20F. For most hardiness zones, this variety will be best suited for growing in a container. The Rangpur lime is not a true lime, but a hybrid between a mandarin and citron. It has a clean, sour, lime-like taste with notes of mandarin orange and smokiness. The fruit are excellent when preserved or used in beverages. Depending on ripeness they can be fully green, fully orange, or a combination of both! These plants are recommended for growing outdoors in plant hardiness zones 9-11.
