It is oxidized and antiqued to enhance all of the intricate details. This stamping is from very old tooling, probably 1930/1940 era. Made in the USA! The piece is approximately 1-1/8" x 3/4". 26663 Note: Many sellers list “Brass” findings – beware – unless it is stated ox, or oxidized, these are raw brass stampings that you are getting, and eventually they will change colors and oxidize in a not very pretty way! Our findings have all been sent to a plater, where they have gone through several cleaning processes as well as controlled oxidation processes and then a preservative finish is added so that your finding will always look as beautiful as the day you received it.
