It's very easy to accidently hit the ground & rock your chain in any chainsaw application, chains are cheap so don't be left without an extra on hand. Files are equally cheap, buy a dozen and be happy, see item number 360727802836 This is a specialty superlight weight saw is NOT made for cutting big logs but as the video shows will do a very good job, if you regularly cut big logs we would recommend a bigger saw like the MS362 it's designed to provide longer LIGHTER safer reach so you don't kill your back and place yourself so close to danger. We have sold over 200 of these in a 32 inch MS250 setup and everyone has been very happy with it, the 24-28 inch obviously will cut faster, we use both extensively ourselves in arborist work.
