2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Description: Parting ways with a car we have had for years and don't use or need anymore. It is taking up space in our driveway. 2006 Mercedes Benz E350 4 matic station wagon. We have used the wagon for years as our "pick up truck" to haul supplies for our house for it's renovation and for guests to use when they come to town to go the beach with chairs etc. And for a pet charity to haul cages and supplies. It was always our workhorse and not our daily driver . The good ; - Ice cold A/C - 4 x good tires with lots of tread - New steering rack a month ago - Current on all oil and filter changes - Engine runs well with no smoking or leaking - Power windows - Power tilt wheel - Power seats - Power steering and brakes - Power sunroof The not so good - There is one spot of rust - no idea why but it is shown in a photo on here. - The rear bumper has scrapes but the car is almost 20 years old and we used the car so it is to be expected. - The hood has some spots where a horse was trying to eat it - go figure - There are countless warning messages on the dash ever since I had the air bag suspension removed because of constant problems with it and a new made for that purpose strut kit ( made in USA by Arnott ) that bypassed the air suspension system. I had constant air bag blow outs before that. I have to press the black knob on the side of the dash to clear the messages before I drive it. - last known issue is the check engine light that just popped up 3 weeks ago. - mechanic said it is a sensor in the transmission and keeps the car in ' limp home mode ' 40 mph but since we are not using the car, I just drove it home and here it sits. I am tired of maintaining and fixing a car that we rarely use anymore and takes up space. It is great for someone just not us. Sold as is , where is, with no warranties. Nothing wanted in trade.
