Description: SILLY GOOSE TALES DESCRIPTION: This is the RARE L’ENFANCE de BECASSINE doll by R. JOHN WRIGHT. I purchased her at the SILLY GOOSE TALES UFDC CONVENTION that was held in Dallas, TX, in 7/06. She was stored in her box and was taken out for the first time for her eBay photos. The doll’s Certificate of Authenticity and “wrist” tag indicate that her name is L’ENFANCE de BECASSINE. She has black hair and she is made of felt. She is No: 217 out of 400. She is wearing a green & black dress that has a red & white apron. She also has a multi-colored hat, a white petticoat, pantaloons, stockings, and gray & black boots. She is 12 inches tall. Also included is R. John Wright’s SILLY GOOSE. She is 7 inches tall. She has glass-pupil eyes, a jointed neck, moveable wings, and wired feet. She comes in a red drawstring bag. She also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that shows that she was also limited to 400. There is another item from the Convention and it is a key fob and small doll. She looks like the Becassine doll. This item was apparently made by an Antique doll company. She is only 1 1/2 inches!! Also, the R. John Wright box is very nice!!!! **As an adult collector, my dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house.** CONDITION: All of the items and their accessories are in SUPER MINT condition.
