Description: Lemax's Spooky Town CANDY THIEF was released for only one season. Why would an item that wasn't a limited edition be only available for a single season?!? I'll say it's because it was a rare Lemax miss. The item features a skeleton-clad Trick-or-Treater chasing after his dog, who stole his bag of candy. Unfortunately, the track for the child and dog is not round, but oval. This led to the "chase" getting stuck more often than not. The piece itself still looks great, but count on it being a table piece instead of an animated accessory. I have had these since 2005 and took them off my website probably around 2007 because of the flaw. I'm putting them up for sale for the first time in over 15 years!! This is still a cute piece that will fit nicely in any Halloween display. Also great for that Spooky Town collector that hasn't seen this piece before!
