This will also work for 2004-07 Saturn Ion Redline and 2005-11 Chevy HHR. These calipers and brakes come from the front of the 2008 to 2010 Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0L turbocharged vehicle. This kit is all the parts you need to convert any regular 5 lug Cobalt from the 2.4L and the 2005-07 SS supercharged cars. Just check your car to verify you have 5 lugs. If it has 4 lugs it will NOT work. Everything is brand new! Add huge braking power compared to your cheap calipers. This is a 4 piston brembo caliper package with substantially larger diameter, thicker rotors, etc. In comparison the factory rotor on the typical 5 lug cobalt has a 11.6" rotor and a single piston cast caliper which is horrible. This upgrade has a 12.4" rotor and a 4 piston aluminum caliper which provides an incredible stopping upgrade. Provides more even brake pad wear and less chances of warping the rotor from emergency braking. You will feel the difference immediately. This is unlike what most people try to do. We have done plenty of testing and the factory wheel bearing on the 5 lug non turbo cars has a slight change in the wheel bearing thickness and if you do not correct that it causes an uneven wear in the brake pads, so in this kit we include wheel bearing spacers that you put behind the wheel bearing. This is to provide the proper clearance so your vehicle will not have premature break pad failure. Most people who have done their own conversion by buying used parts probably experience this issue.
