Description: Up for sale is a 2002 Fender Highway One Stratocaster Made in USA in Crimson Red Transparent. Guitar has been upgraded to Fender Custom Shop Pickups ($269) and they sound great. (I believe they are CS 54's) Guitar is in very good used condition for a 22 year old guitar. The Highway One series has very thin paint job allowing it to relic naturally. However this guitar shows very little paint wear on the body. A few nicks and strum marks but overall a really nice preserved Highway One. Frets show little wear. Neck is straight, action is low and intonation is right on. Some very slight clear coat checking on the neck just from age, nice natural relic taking place (please see pic. 12) Guitar weighs 7lbs 14oz. Comes original way bar and comes with a very nice padded Reunion Blues San Francisco gig bag ($169). Guitar has just been set up with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 10's strings and fret board has been oiled. Please see all photos for further condition. I have taken many photos for you to look at.
