These pair of beautiful jugs have a wonderful, rustic brown and black mottled drip glaze. The applied handles are sturdy, well designed and very comfortable to hold and use. The pourer has been created by rolling the lip by hand which is such a nice touch! Both vintage Australian pottery jugs have the black "Old Ballarat Pottery" mine stamp on their base. Additionally, one of the jugs also bears the earlier impressed long tailed "B" filled with coloured oxide. Being hand crafted, each jug is slightly different in size. One measures 12.5cm in length, 8.5cm in width, 9.5cm in height and weighs 350 grams. The other measures 12cm in length, 8cm in width, 9.5cm in height and weighs 379 grams. Both jugs are presented in wonderful vintage condition. Their condition suggests they have been display pieces only and as such are in superb "as new" condition.
