Our popular POP-BEAD METHOD for restringing Baby Face dolls has been updated again. Use our custom "Popbead Kit" to restring the head and limbs of your Baby Face dolls. The BF doll is very SNUG when finished, and it's not hard to do! POP-BEAD RESTRINGING KITS: includes the cord, wood beads, and assorted metal and nylon washers that you need to restring a Baby Face doll. The parts in our Kits are special order and some are even custom made: most of these parts can't be found in local stores.Our re-stringing instructions are online and include many photos. We'll provide the link to the instructions with this kit (or you can ask your BF club moderator where our dolly repair tutorials are located.) We've been restringing BF dolls for 15 years now. We tweaked our pop-bead system to make it even easier. One of our photos above shows the "pop-bead" assembly. All you have to do is heat the doll's shoulder a little bit with a hair dryer to warm the vinyl: then push the bead into the socket. You might not even need to heat the vinyl first, it's such a good fit. The pop-bead method is much easier than trying to get the doll back together the original way. (At the factory they had special equipment that we don't have, so we've had to be creative.) All of this info is in our instructions, as well as plenty of good photos to help you.
