Description: Lovely oil on canvas painting of a young girl, with pink bows, red lips and beautiful blue eyes framed by very tasteful blond curls. The painting is unsigned and undated. I am not an art expert, so I am basing my 19th Century description on a faint stamp on the wooden frame which appears to be an 1800's patent date. Expert opinion is welcomed. The painting measures 14" tall x 10" wide. This painting is tightly stretched on what appears to be the original frame. It could probably use a good cleaning. The canvas is repaired just under the face of the subject. This is visible upon close examination, but does not detract from the overall beauty of the subjects face.
