Underside with rubbing surface. Decorated on front with depiction of a Roman maiden sitting in front of a Roman column. No markings. An unusual early example and a good collector''s piece! The vesta is very good preserved with insignificant traces of time and normal wear of silver-plating. The lid open/close fit excellent.
