This publication, which measures appx 9x6 inches unopened and which unfolds to 24x18 inches, has an invasion map on one side and text and photos on the other side. The map is fantastic, showing the entire length of Normandy and the landing points of the various Allied forces. German coastal defenses are marked, along with the routes the Allies followed as they moved south, east and west from the coast. There is a chronology of events leading up to and including the invasions. There is also a listing of the various Allied army and aviation units participating. The other side discusses the joint and combined Allied operations and strategy of the invasion. There are also detailed accounts of the landings and fighting on both Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, along with photographs from these battles. This publication is printed on a medium-weight semi-glossy paperstock. It is UNUSED and in MINT condition, with no rips, tears, writing, markings, spills or smears.
