Description: This listing is for a 1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio in Ebony W/Factory Gibson Kahler-Original Chainsaw Case. Killer vintage, LP Studio! All original this beauty weighs in at 10.3 lbs, pretty common weight for that era. This guitar is in amazing condition for its age. It is black, so it shows some pick scratches here and there and some minor play wear, but take a look at the pictures. This guitar is clean, clean, clean! About as nice an example of a nearly 40 year old Les Paul as you will find. The original Tim Shaw pickups are intact and sound awesome as you would expect. The Gibson branded Kahler type trem is factory installed and works beautifully. The original trem bar is included. The neck is superb and the guitar plays great. Frets are in excellent condition. The original Chainsaw case is also in great condition and the interior is intact and extremely clean. Overall just an extremely well preserved Les Paul from a great era of Gibson LPs.
