Description: 1985 Gibson Explorer! Made in the USA. Gloss Black finish on classic Mahogany body. Set Maple neck, topped with a 22-fret Rosewood board with dot inlays. Chrome hardware, including Kahler trem. Pickups have been changed to a Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon in the bridge and a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck. Luckily the guitar has the triangle knob set-up with the large cavity, so not much modification was done to the body to facilitate the system. The only thing that had to be done was two screw holes on the back plate are moved so a little bit of the 'lip' of the cavity could be removed-the fit was that close! Removed locking nut, changed truss rod cover, removed tool tree on the back of the headstock. No breaks. Guitar has tons of mojo and vibe, and plays and sounds great. One owner since new. Ships in its original hardshell case with trem bar. All listed Ebay payments accepted from all buyers. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. No international shipping on most items. Please check your state's status with the internet sales tax act to see if tax will be collected. Thanks for looking, please check out our other gear- Next Big Thing Guitars
