Up for auction is a vintage Francesco Moser Road Bike frame, probably from the mid to late 1980s. I don't know the exact year of production, this is just an estimate of the period. The paint is the famous "cromovelato" and original. As it is a used frame and cromovelato is pretty sensitve there are regular signs of use like scratches and marks and a bit of paint flaking. Please see e.g. top tube near steer tube and near seattube. One imperfection is on the right side of the downtube near the shifter mount. Overall I would say that the frame is still nice with its original appearence. Very good for a cool runner, not a perfect showbike. Please see pics. The frame is made from Columbus tubing. The frame is used but in fully original condition. No touch-ups. There are in my opininon no cracks or dents. The chrome is in very good condition. Measurements: The frame is marked "53545" and "3" on the bb shell. I measure approximately 53cm tall (center - center seattube), 54.5cm tall (center - top seattube). The length of the top tube is approximately 54.5cm (c-c). Rear spacing is 126mm. 70mm bottom bracket lug.
