Description: Hello! This auction is for a 1979 Wilkinsburg stamp club Souvenir sheet. The sheet is in excellent condition with full, never hinged original gum. These satirical sheets poke fun at the previous years stamp subjects with no regard for political correctness. These souvenir sheet were, and STILL are issued every year by the club in conjunction with their show in April. A description from the Wilkinsburg Stamp Club about this year's sheet; "This year we printed our own "Capex" sheet changing the maple leaves to poison ivy. All eight stamps have the original titles, but we certainly changed the pictures to suit the titles."
