Description: Vintage ca 1974 Ibanez Japan model 2543 Howard Roberts electric jazz guitar == A beautiful guitar and a Rare no-logo and no-serial number early version, possibly a prototype or salesman's demo -- undoubtedly a 2543, identical to others and with the same great build quality, and some of the same hardware, as the 1975 Ibanez Japan Artist Jazz we recently sold, great guitars == Oval soundhole hollow-body with a floating humbucker and (1) Volume and (2) Tone controls Bass & Treble, multi-ply binding one the flame-maple body, fancy fret marker inlays, inlaid Torch on peghead front Star tuners == VG++ condition down-graded from EXC because she suffered a bump to the treble side edge of the heel cap resulting in clearcoat cracking on heel cap and one side of heel joint; this is cosmetic only, not cracked on other side of heel joint and is stable (I tried pretty hard to move it, it's solid) -- Other than that some very light marks only, frets 99%, excellent action == Includes heavy-duty gig bag shown -- BIN Buy It Now and we'll give you a new hard case instead == The build quality of the high-end Ibanez copy-versions from the era is as good or better than their Gibson inspirations, real nice guitars! ==If you are considering a purchase, please take a minute and read our feedback !!!We strive to achieve 5 star service !!
