Description: A very enlightening book on "Gun Control". By Robert J. Kukla, 1973, First Edition, 448 pages, published by Stackpole Books, edited by Harlon B. Carter, past president of the NRA. The book comes with it's original dust cover and is in excellent condition. This fascinating book aims to preserve - for the future of America - the inalienable right of it's law abiding citizens "to keep and bear arms". There has been a "conspiracy" to disarm America - and this book explores a written record of efforts to eliminate the private possession of firearms in America. Summary: Few subjects in the last half of the 20th century have created as much controversy and confusion as "Gun Control". Up until this point almost everything published have presented only the views of one side - that to advocate the side of gun control and thus hide the full truth. This book, by attorney, Richard J. Kukla, seeks to set the record straight. He exposes the less than truthful methods employed by gun control advocates to arouse public support for their cause by manipulating the facts and the use of open "Innuendo of Emotionalism". It reveals the dangerous political philosophy - distrust of the people and determined willingness to oppress them. It shows that gun prohibition cannot be successful and that existing laws if enforced provide adequate restraints instead of jeopardizing and chipping away citizen's rights. This book is in excellent condition. Solid binding, no loose pages. It appears to be unread, it is clean inside. The only imperfections noted: written inside the first page of the book is "donated by...name" and there are 2 tiny tears in the dust cover about 1/8 to 1/4 inch in size on the top right corner of the dustcover and on the top edge spine side of the dust cover. See pictures 8, 9 and 10. The book underneath is intact and no damage. Book size is 9 1/4 by 6 1/4 inches. An excellent informative and collectible book from 1973. This is from an old collection so be sure to see my other offerings. I will ship this safely and securely. Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
