Item Description: A Very Hard to Find OEM Radiator Core Support for the 1965 big block 396 Corvettes. The white coupe that this came out of did not see the streets since the early 1970s. It is now being turned into a restomod. This support is in very good condition. The Corvette had never been wrecked so this core is straight and not rusted out like most that you would find today. The sloppy (but original) weld where the two support rods cross had broken loose as is very common from the front end flexing. We had a body shop tack weld that connection with an original lookalike weld. Other than that, we don't see any necessary repairs and there were certainly never any modifications. We have offered the maximum number of photos allowed so check those out. We will leave the cleaning and painting up to you. The paint is original. For sure it will fit your Corvette and pass any NCRS judging because it is the real deal. The reproduction suppliers are asking $800 - $900 plus shipping (with no discount) for something similar. So we figure a good original that will pass any judging is worth at least that. Shipping: We will securely box the item ourselves with no charge for the packaging materials or our time (no handling charges). We prefer to use UPS but if you require other methods, we can most likely accommodate you. If our listing shows "free shipping" or a "fixed shipping charge", that is for shipping to the continental USA states. If that does not apply to you, then please contact us for the shipping charge. In all cases, you will never be charged more than the actual carrier shipping/insurance cost. And we will ship as timely as reasonable, knowing that we are not a full time, 8 to 5 business and we are not always home. In a few cases a signature may be required at destination point. Item can be picked up in Springfield, NE which is near Omaha. We will pay the insurance based on sale price. Because of the value, UPS will require a signature on the receiving end.
