1962 DODGE DART 440 QUARTER PANEL LOWER REAR CHROME ORNAMENTS 1PR CAST 2167970-1

Description: Here for your consideration is this good condition original used pair of 1962 Dodge Dart 440 model lower rear quarter panel chrome ornaments. A left and right pair, that are cast with Chrysler part #s: 2167970-1. Stored away inside on the shelf for many years. These both still have shiny, pretty smooth original chrome plating on them. No accident damages, nor cracks, chips, holes, or repairs. There are a few pits on them, with not too much on the right side one, and a little more on the left side one, but not too many as many of these go out there I have seen over the years. (see green pencil pointing to a few of the more noticeable ones). There also are a few very light scuffs, but not that noticeable from any real distance away (see green pencil pointing to the main light scuffs in pictures). The back side is pretty clean as many of these go, with no real bad pitting. The original attaching studs are missing or corroded off on some of these. Left ornament has one rear attaching stud corroded of the three, and the right ornament has two of the three corroded off (see green pencil pointing to these bad or missing studs in pictures). You would have to figure out a good way to attach these ornaments to make up for these bad / missing studs (like gluing on some new studs or using double sided tape, etc.). Other studs are very good still, and come with original nuts still on them, also in good shape. Original black paint in recessed areas on the face of these is flaked off and just currently the bright chrome finish, but you could easily re-paint the black back on--if you want that original look still. These large quarter panel chrome ornaments are getting very hard to come by any more, especially with no accident damage, cracks, chips, or very bad corrosion. While certainly not perfect, these here are much better than many, and great if you have none, or want to add some on to your car at my realistic price here.
