Description: 1961 Henri Selmer Paris K-Modified 24b Trumpet in excellent condition. Comes with 3 Selmer mutes and a purple velvety lining Selmer hard case. The valves are in great shape. All kick-outs, slides, and valves function perfectly. The trumpet was already in excellent condition, but I took it in recently and had it inspected and serviced at Nick Rail in Valencia, California on June 27, 2024 for the purpose of this sale. The technicians emphasized that the Trumpet is very much in beautiful shape. The following was done: Disassembled and inspected, new valve springs installed, chemical clean/ultrasonic the entire instrument, new water key corks, new valve felts and corks, valve casings swabbed out, reassembled and lubricated, test play and final inspection. They also charged me a new 3rd slide finger ring, but the original gold one is in the secret compartment in the case (I don’t use a 3rd slide ring that’s why it’s there) so there are two 3rd slide finger rings. There is some natural wear as to be expected of a trumpet this age, however no red rot, no structural damage, no playing issues. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to message me, thank you.
