Description: this is a vintage 1956 Illustrated children's book called Anatole. the book is written by Eve Titus and the pictures and illustrations are by Paul galdone. in France there was no happier more contented mouse than Anatole he lived in a smallmouth village with his wife doucette and their six children. along with the story in the book are unique illustrations that range from black and white to colored in blue and red highlights. the book is an ex library book. the inside page has a stamp from the school on it. all the pages of the book are intact there are over 30 pages. the blank last page of the book was cut in half for some reason. the outside cover of the book is slightly worn around the edges and corners.
