Description: Here is another cool used item that we recently acquired. This is a push button radio for a 1940 Chevy car. This has been sitting inside for many years and I have no idea if it works or not so I am selling it for use as parts or a restoration project. The clear face is not broken or cracked but the numbers under that face are very faded and hard to read. In the little squares it has the radio stations like WLS and those letters are also faded. It has knobs and bezels with it but I don't know if those knobs are correct or not. The knobs are dirty but they are not broken or cracked. The buttons are not broken or cracked and they still push in. When you push the buttons the dial indicator moves but when you turn the knob that dial indicator does not move. In picture number 10 you can see it has the tag on it which says C40 and then the serial number which is 4456. The outside case is not dented or rusted through but it has some light rust on it. It came with the bracket you see in the very last picture so I assume that bracket is correct for this radio but I am not sure about that. This would be a good one to restore if you work with these type of items. It is very heavy so the winning bidder pays only $35.00 shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Good luck!!
