Description: 1938 Singer Featherweight 221 New Belt & Foot pedal - Ex working condition. Serial number denotes this model as a 1938 based on serial starting with AE9 Machine runs well and we have put on a new belt and bought a new foot pedal. Condition of the machine is a solid 8/10. The only main defect is visual with a fair amount of surface scuffs and sacratches on the black gloss finish surrounding the front and back of the needle plate from use. Overall metal looks well maintained with no obvious oxidation or rust. This is only cosmetic and will come with general use from my understanding. General test. Seemed smooth overall but it needs oil and possibly a proper set up with expertise. No case. This is sold as is. Please look at all pictures and ask any questions you have before you purchase.
