Description: 1918 Mexico 5 centavos, copper, approx. 28 mm. The obverse shows a wreath, open at the top, with the date, 1918, at the opening, and at the bottom, below the wreath, the Mexico City mint mark. Inside the wreath is an interlocking 5 with the symbol for centavos. The reverse shows the eagle, standing on a cactus, holding a snake with its beak, and one claw. A small/partial wreath below it, and at the rim around the upper portion is "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS". The piece is a nice medium to dark brown color, with nice surfaces, and much better than typical grade. Very strong detail on the eagle, and the wreath on both sides.
